Product Description

The heavy duty axial fan kit is designed for custom projects and as a replacement fan. The fan runs on 100 to 125V AC and contains everything needed to easily mount the fan and power it through a wall outlet. Includes a 4 foot power cord that can be easily attached to the fan’s metal terminals and allows it to be powered through a wall outlet. The plug cord can also be cut and be converted into lead wires to be connected to a wired AC power source. Also includes two 120 millimeter metal fan guards and a mounting screw set. AC Infinity fans are certified by CE, UL, TUV, and RoHS.

Heavy Duty Construction

The fan’s housing is constructed of die-cast aluminum painted black and able to perform well in harsh environments and withstand shocks. Its impeller and blades are molded with thermoplastic and meets UL 94 standards for resistance to flammability. Impedance protected motors contains windings that have a higher resistance to heat during a rotor lock. Containing long life dual ball bearings, the fans can be run continuously for 67,000 hours and be mounted in any direction.

Applications

This low speed fan is suitable in applications that requires a lower noise level and can accept a weaker airflow. The ultra-quiet cooling fans can be positioned to stand upright or laid flat to cool various electronics and components. Features a multi-speed controller with power switch. Includes eight large anti-vibration rubber feet per fan and a 6-foot power cord. The two fans are permanently connected by a 2.5 feet cord and share the same multi-speed controller. EC Fan What is EC technology?
EC stands for Electronically Commutated, and it combines AC and DC voltages bringing the best of both worlds; the motor runs on a DC voltage, but with a normal AC supply.
EC motors have several benefits. Because EC motors have no brushes, they do not spark or have a short life due to brushes. Other advantages include the fact that they do not waste power because the electronics control the stator; they provide better performance and controllability, and they run cooler than induction motors; In terms of size, small motors can achieve the same output as traditional DC or AC motors.
Power distribution is much cleaner with an EC motor. Brushless DC motors depend on a separate DC power supply. And an AC motor’s power supply usually adds extra cost and complexity. EC motors can connect directly to AC main power supply with their integrated electronics.
